A friend of mine had a car like this in high school. In stock configuration, of course. I thought it was one of the ugliest cars around. I've done a '55 and two '57 Chevrolets in the past. Also '32, '33 and '34 Fords. I wanted something different that you don't always see at car shows. Started about 3 1/2 years ago. Should have started this model sooner. They seem to be getting popular now.
MODIFICATIONS:Car is mounted on Art Morrison frame. For power it has an LS-3 525hp engine coupled to a 4L65 transmission. Installed in the dash is the first 1950 Chevy instrument panel done by Classic Instruments specifically for a 50 dash. All chrome work was done by Advanced Plating. Upholstery was done by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto Custom Interiors. Car has Vintage Air along with stereo system complete with amplifier and subwoofer.
