US edition of Holden Commodore. Limited availability. Mine is one of 711 that has the following 3 key features:
1. Manual 6 Speed Transmission
2. Magnetic Ride Control
3. Dual Mode Exhaust
All these features together were only available on the 2016 model year.
In 2014,the first production year, it was available only as an automatic with standard suspension and exhaust.
In 2015 the manual transmission and magnetic ride control were added.
In 2016 the dual mode exhaust was added.
In 2017, the final production year, it is again only available as an automatic, but does have magnetic ride control and dual mode exhaust.
This is not really a show car. It is a daily driver. It is an "honest" car with cosmetic flaws it has acquired during ownership, and during track days at Roebling Road.There is some cosmetic work that needs to be done, especially under the hood. And it could use the services of a really good dyno tuner. But it is an exceptionally fun car to drive, and it is a monster on the track.
2.9l Whipple Superchager. According to Whipple specs for this setup, it now makes 680 crank horsepower versus 415 from the factory.
